About Mark Stewart

Mark Stewart has authored more than 150 sports books for the educational market, including a dozen on men's and women's soccer. As a boy in the 1970s, he attended early games of the North American Soccer League (NASL) and, in 1998, was in the stands when Mia Hamm scored her 200th goal. In 2005, Mark co-produced the 10th Anniversary commemorative book for Major League Soccer (MLS). An avid collector of vintage soccer cards, stickers, and memorabilia, he has many artifacts that date back to the early 1900s.
