Garth Nix
   Garth Nix was born in 1963 and grew up in Canberra, Australia. His novel Sabriel won the Aurealis Award for Excellence in Australian Science Fiction, and his novel Shade’s Children was named an ALA Best Book for Young Adults and an ABA Pick of the Lists. He is also the author of The Ragwitch and the forthcoming Lirael. He currently lives in Sydney, Australia.

He is currently working on his new series The Keys to the Kingdom.
