Nouns are parts of speech that refer to a person, place, thing, state or quality. For example: desk, cat, Daniel, sky, love, etc.

Plural means expressing that there is more than one. For example: cats, desks, songs, loves, friends, aunts, etc.

Adjectives are terms that modify or change the meaning of a noun. For example: furry cat, large desk, starry sky, etc.

Verbs are parts of speech that represent an action, occurrence or existence. Verbs are commonly referred to as "doing words". Examples of present tense verbs are play, dance, eat, run, listen, etc.

Past tense verb means to express your verb as something that has already happened. For example: painted, rode, fed, sang, laughed, etc.
