Can you give any examples without giving too much away?
Well, there's a very unnatural, possibly cannibalistic baby who has a weird psychological control over his mother, a Marine sergeant, and can give her the power to become a sort of ultimate warrior. There's a character in a coma. There's a character who is the son of the first female president and calls himself Yago, after Shakespeare's greatest villain. There's a girl whose face is half-destroyed by fire who calls herself 2Face. There's even - and this is very unusual for me - a jock, of sorts, Mo'Steel who is addicted to extreme sports. And later we'll meet a boy, Kubrick, with transparent skin, which means all his muscles and some internal organs are visible as he walks around.

Ooookay. What's with these names? Jobs? Mo'Steel? Yago? 2Face? Kubrick?
Also D-Caf, Anamull, Tate, Miss Blake, Roger Dodger and others. The series is set, or at least begins, in the year 2011. I think the notion of screen names and rapper nicknames will only grow. I think by 2011 everyone will feel they have a right to decide their own name and change the name from time to time. Jobs is a computer adept and has named himself in homage to Steven Jobs. Mo'Steel's name is a reflection of the fact that he's broken so many bones a significant portion of his arm and leg bones are now steel. (Okay, titanium and bioengineered bone.)

And, given your most recent work, I'm guessing there are aliens? Yep. You want aliens? We've got aliens. We have one species that has two heads and rides around on anti-gravity hoverboards. One head is pretty much just for eating.

So, what is REMNANTS? Is it science fiction? Horror? Fantasy? Humor?
    Yes.
