Pat Hancock

Pat Hancock’s five Haunted Canada books combine spooky stories and eerie illustrations with interesting facts about Canadian history. Readers will be thrilled and chilled by her hair-raising stories! Haunted
Canada: True Ghost Stories garnered the Saskatchewan Diamond Willow Award in 2004. A longtime collector of funny but true facts about Canada, Pat is also well-known for her four collections of Crazy
Canadian Trivia books, now available in one volume as The Big Book of Crazy Canadian Trivia.
A former high school science and English teacher, Pat says that reading to her three children when she became a full-time parent first sparked her interest in writing. Now a grandmother of three, she still loves reading and writing both fiction and non-fiction for younger readers.
