Karen's Birthday

It's Karen's birthday! She can't wait for all those presents!

Being a two-two might sound like fun, and it can be. But here is one thing I do not like about being a two-two: I never get to see everybody in my whole family at once. I either see the little-house family of the big-house family. So what I had decided I wanted for my birthday was to invite all the people at the little house and all the people at the big house to one party. I just wanted us to be together.

That was why I didn't sound so happy when Daddy asked if I wanted to take some friends to the Happy-Time Circus. It meant that once again Daddy was planning one party and Mommy was planning another.

And that was not what I wanted.
