Karen's Big Sister

Karen is jealous of Kristy.

"Karen Brewer! How can you say something like that? You really hurt my feelings," said Kristy. "After all this time, how can you still think that way? I thought we were close. I thought we were family. Real family."

"Well you hurt my feelings, too," I said. "Real family lend each other things. I do not see why you won't lend me the pin."

"You know I lend you things all the time," said Kristy. "I explained my reasons for not wanting to lend you this pin. It would be nice if you were more understanding about it."

"Well, I don't understand," I replied. "Not at all."

I walked out of Kristy's room in a huff and went to bed. I was so mad.
