FONCTIONS :

  • Révision linguistique et stylistique des textes traduits, des catalogues et des écrits promotionnels.
  • Correction d'épreuves en vue de la publication de livres, de catalogues et d'autres produits.
  • Traduction de textes variés.
  • Rédaction de lettres, de textes promotionnels, etc., à l'occasion.

Job Description

We are currently seeking part-time Warehouse Clerks for the Winnipeg Book Fair branch.

We are looking for energetic individuals who will be responsible for preparing orders for shipping, controlling inventory, unloading and shelving stock, pricing as well as some housekeeping duties in a timely and efficient manner. Some administrative duties including telephone responsibilities are required. Moderate to heavy lifting is required between 20-60 lbs.

The ideal candidate has three years of high school education along with six months of previous work experience. Attention to detail, the ability to be a team player and a strong telephone etiquette are also requirements of this position. This is a casual position; applicants must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.

Fulfillment Control Junior Analyst

Job Description

Working as part of the Operations Team the successful candidate will work with the Fulfillment Control Manager to assist in the development and implementation of ongoing fulfillment strategies. Responsibilities will include: assisting the Fulfillment Control Analyst and Line Support staff with the setup of profiles as per business process, observe overall line workflow and take action to make improvements when necessary and gather relevant feedback from warehouse staff. You will also use your technical and analytical skills to perform ad hoc queries as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in Business Administration, Computer Programming or other logistics training and experience. A high proficiency in Microsoft products, specifically in Access and Excel is required. Knowledge of MYSQL, AS400, Staging Director and VB Script is an asset. The successful candidate will have well developed analytical and problem solving skills as well as excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Description

As Business Analyst, you will work collaboratively with the Marketing Division to accurately determine business needs and support the requirements and design of the development, testing and implementation of solutions. You will use your analytical skills to examine current processes and identify opportunities to optimize efficiency. Working closely with IT, the Business Analyst will promote business needs by identifying, developing and prioritizing projects.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice-President, Marketing, you will utilize your project management skills to monitor project and budgetary performance and compliance with applicable specifications, rules, regulations and laws related to business applications, systems and programming, while ensuring quality and timeliness of work performed and final products.

In this newly created position, you will use your highly developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and tactfully with all stakeholders to effectively meet business requirements.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree in computer science, information processing, or business administration or a closely related field.

A minimum of five years Business Analyst work experience, with at least three years experience in managing complex information systems projects is required. The candidate must have three years of demonstrated experience in business analysis, design and project management responsibility.
