A position is available in our Downtown Toronto location with the Production Department for a Print Production Coordinator reporting to the Production Manager.

The successful candidate possesses a minimum of 5 years of promotional production experience in the Direct Mail field and is experienced in a PDF to press workflow.

The candidate must also be fluent in Microsoft Word and Excel in a Mac environment and have good working knowledge of InDesign. The applicant will be familiar with logistical planning using various methods of distribution and the ability to analyze complex vendor estimates for presentation to Internal Marketing teams. We are looking for a team player with an acute attention to detail who can hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.

Scholastic Canada Ltd., the leading children’s book publisher in Canada is currently seeking a Bilingual Representative to handle all customer service correspondence and issues sent to us through correspondence, faxes, e-mails and post-call inquiries quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position requires the ability to establish priorities for assigned work and to determine the best solution for problem solving whether in writing or by phone in a clear and positive manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing back-up phone support at peak times for the Phone Call Centre and compiling and reporting administrative data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

The ideal candidate must be a High School Graduate with at least one year of work-related experience. The applicant must have strong grammar, and writing skills, well-developed communication skills (both written and oral) in French and English, excellent telephone manner, assertiveness skills, listening and organizational skills as well as the ability to change work methods on short notice. Requires thorough knowledge of all policies, procedures and fulfillment systems for Book Clubs as well as proficient computer, keyboarding, Internet and order entry skills. This role requires flexibility to change shifts based on call volume.
